Blood Borne Virus Prevention Project

The aim of the BBV Prevention Project is to provide a partnership approach to prevention of hepatitis B, hepatitis C and HIV across Greater Manchester.

This includes:

• Setting of a Greater Manchester Blood Borne Virus strategy

• The production of a DVD for use with Looked After Children

• An evaluated training project for Care Home staff in Greater Manchester using the DVD

• Improving HBV Vaccination System for Looked After Children
• Joint working with Healthy Schools
